About the Forum
The Committee has long recognised the need to provide a forum for discussing emerging issues in the regional landscape and rural production area and is hosting the 2008 SEQ Living Landscapes Forum to meet this need.
The objectives of the Forum will be to raise the profile of key regional landscape issues, to examine their policy position within state and local governments in Queensland, and to disseminate the SEQ experience of managing the regional landscape and rural production areas to a wider audience.
The Forum’s program is designed so that the participants arrive at agreed solutions and outcomes. Speakers (to speakers page) are being asked to address the specific issues the Advisory Committee agrees are a priority in planning and management of the Regional Landscape and Rural Production area of South-East Queensland.
